While in his office in Orlando, Miller will perform all of the activities required to analyze the operation of Wallace's computer that is installed in Miami. OnLineDFS can investigate any computer installed on the same network without requiring any pre-installed agent software on the target system. The investigator accesses OnLineDFS through a web browser, which can be located wherever there is access to a secure web connection (HTTPS). This enables Miller to perform the entire investigation without leaving his office. Miller opens a web browser, types in the address for the OnLineDFS machine given to him by the OnLineDFS administrator, and logs in at the OnLineDFS Investigator Login screen, Figure 1.
