Eden Prairie, MN, October 1, 2009 - Cyber Security Technologies today announced the introduction of P2P Marshal™ Release 2.
P2P Marshal is an automated computer forensics application used by over 1,000 law enforcement and other security professionals worldwide to discover and analyze peer-to-peer (P2P) usage on images of hard drives.
“P2P Marshal Release 2 adds significant capabilities,” stated John Metil, CEO of Cyber Security Technologies, “including support for analyzing images from target systems running Windows Vista, Windows 2008 and Windows 7. Thus, we now support analysis of targets running these operating systems plus Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows XP.
Metil continued, “In a major enhancement of our capabilities in the worldwide market, we have added support for all non-English versions of all of these operating systems. Additionally, we now support all 64-bit implementations of all of these operating systems.”
Other new features include:
- Support for FrostWire clients;
- Enhanced support for Ares and LimeWire clients;
- The ability for offline viewing of data and analysis acquired or generated by P2P Marshal;
- Enhanced identification of downloaded, shared and installation status of P2P-related files and programs.
