Robert Pasquarella to Join Firm as Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Eden Prairie, MN, March 13, 2005 - Cyber Security Technologies Corporation (CST) today announced that Robert E. Pasquarella has joined the company as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Pasquarella is an experienced IT industry sales and marketing manager.
John Metil, founder and president and CEO of CST said: "We are proud to have someone of Bob's experience join CST in this vital position. In addition to direct relationships with major customers, CST will be relying upon channel partnerships to introduce our OnLine Digital Forensic SuiteTM software to the market. Bob is accomplished in establishing such relationships."
Pasquarella stated: "I am excited to be a part of CST and to have the opportunity to establish and manage the strategic partnerships that will introduce OnLineDFS worldwide. While the initial use for OnLineDFS is expected to be primarily related to IT security, we plan to follow shortly with applications in other areas such as compliance and E-Discovery."
Pasquarella has spent his entire professional career in the information technology business in sales and marketing management, customer service, channel and distribution management and business development, with a focus on start-up and early stage development of new business enterprises. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental establishing channels of distribution and consummating key deals to launch multi-million dollar revenue streams.
Pasquarella was among the founding group of Lee Data Corporation; a Minnesota based start-up in the intelligent terminal and distributed data processing market that grew to $115 million in annual revenue in five years. He later joined Tricord Systems as Vice President of Business Development when the company was initially starting to deliver products. Within ninety days of joining the company, he secured a distribution relationship that generated annual revenues of $10 million. Within four years, Tricord's revenues grew to $85 million and the company executed a very successful IPO.
Pasquarella then became a partner in The Zebulon Group, a corporate development consulting firm focused in providing a variety of management services to start-up companies by following an "incubator" model. Pasquarella's responsibility was to provide leadership to clients in the areas of sales and marketing management and business development. He was deeply involved in the firm's activities in building Japanese distribution channels for a number of clients.
Leveraging his experience in the Asian market, Pasquarella then joined Stellent to build the company's presence in the Asia-Pacific region. He established subsidiary organizations in Tokyo, Seoul and Melbourne, recruited country managers and key staff, and launched Stellent business throughout Asia with localized products and national channel partners.
Pasquarella earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the NYU Graduate School of Business.
